The awarding of MyQuest 6-Star rating by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia is the latest feather in PIDC’s cap.
PIDC’s Bachelor of Dental Surgery Programme is offered on a 2 + 3 twinning platform. Two years of Pre Clinical Training is conducted at MAHSA University, Saujana Putra Campus and three years of Clinical training is conducted at PIDC’s Penang Campus. This academic collaboration provides a unique learning experience for the students where they get trained by two of the leading dental education institutes in Malaysia.
PIDC’s Bachelor of Dental Surgery curriculum was developed in-house and it underwent stringent vetting by its Board of Studies (BOD). The BOD members comprise of PIDC’s academicians and the leading academicians from Malaysian Public Universities. The framework and content of PIDC’s BDS curriculum was benchmarked to meet the highest standards in the dental education. The curriculum is delivered to the students by qualified and experienced academicians.
PIDC has trained more than 600 dental surgeons, many of whom are working with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defence and in Private Clinical Practice all across Malaysia. The growing alumni of PIDC also has many members pursuing post graduate training in universities in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Public Universities in Malaysia.
